Information Design Poster

This was a project to design an information design poster. I chose to do mine on drunk driving statistics. I chose a neutral color palette, and focused most on conveying the information as creatively as I can.

Layouts

We were assigned to create layouts using two articles, using two, three, and then four columns. These were some of my favorite ones that I did. 

Visual Poetry

This was a class assignment where we were instructed to design a calendar with less legibility but is more visually poetic. I based my design on constellations, where each month is connected by dots labeled by dates of the particular month.

Shapes

Alchemy Logos

We were introduced to Alchemy in class and were instructed to create as many different shapes and random designs in the application. Then, we picked the shapes we liked the most and took them into Illustrator, where we turned each shape into outlines and put them together or broke them apart to create interesting designs out of them. These are rough, but it was a very fun activity.
